Day 6 provision
At our Day 6 provision, we provide a short stay for students on fixed term exclusions which varies in length. The provision is for both KS3 and KS4. We provide one-to-one support for pupils when needed in addition to an emphasis on:
- Emotional and behavioural support
- Providing space for self-reflection
- Encouraging students to work towards specific & achievable goals
- Independent learning within a calm setting
Whilst at SILS 6, to ensure continuity of education, individual timetables are set by the teacher each morning based on work provided by the pupil’s school or academy. Qualified staff ensure students work in line with their curriculum in order to ease reintegration back into a mainstream school setting.
